Take a guided tour led by Gordon and Mary Hayward of their private gardens. (Maps will be provided at the meeting). The Haywards have been tending their gardens in Vermont through the seasons for 25 years. Their gardens have been featured in books and articles as an evolving, living laboratory for their design, planting, and maintenance ideas. Wonderfully laid out and planted, everyone can get great ideas and inspiration and come away with fresh insights for implementing their own garden endeavors.
The gardens will remain open until 5pm for self-guided tours. Gordon Hayward’s books will be available for purchase and signing after the tour.
